“ Im obsessed!!! The flavors are all so yummy and bold. You can taste the good quality milk and creaminess w the ice cream. I love that theres so many toppings its almost like the ice cream is just there to hold them together. I was a super big fan of the coffee oreo flavor and the munchies. Looking forward to trying more in the future! ”
“ The flight of ice cream was the perfect way to sample bits of all the flavors you love! ”
“ This was my first visit to an ample hills since moving out of nyc more than 5 years ago and it lives up to how great it was in my memory! I can't imagine a better deal for trying a variety of flavors than 6 mini scoops for $10. My favorite was either the munchies or white chocolate peppermint. The only one that was a little off was the Rice Krispies one where the cereal texture was a bit weird Overall, if you're an ice cream person I'd make this a must stop on an nyc visit, their combination of creative rotating flavors and consistent quality is hard for me to imagine beating ”
“ I came from a hot sauce expo, so I was fiending for some ice cream. Stumbled upon this place with a sundae that's on top of brownie and options for condiments like sprinkles, but of course I'll always choose oreos. The whip cream and butter pecan pie hit the spot. You can choose chocolate fudge or caramel drizzle and I chose caramel because I enjoy saying that word. They have some vegan ice cream options for those losers with lactose intolerance. There's games here like connect 4 and an etch n sketch, but maybe they were just leftover from the last family. ”
“ Great ice cream and great service! I got The Munchies (ice cream flavour, not after-smoke feels) and it was so good. It had a decadent yummy ice cream base on its own, starring chunks of pretzels, Ritz crackers, potato chips, and mini M&M's. What? Perfect if you actually had the munchies. The service here was full of super darling employees. Don't let my photo fool ya! ;) Definitely a great spot with loads of seating. ”
“ I must preface, as a St. Louisan I had to try the gooey butter cake flavor. That, my friends, was not gooey butter cake. However, the rest of my ice cream was great. I rolled with Oh Captain, MY Captain, and Oatmeal Lace. Both bring in some flavors from breakfast. Oh Captain was fruity, crunchy, and a melody of of flavor. the cereal did not overpower the drink and the ice cream was creamy. The oatmeal lace was rich, buttery. I love some cinnamon, brown sugar, and oatmeal so this hit the spot for me. The location was pretty cool. It seems to be at the heart of a bustling Brooklyn street. The road was lined with restaurants and diners seated outside. It seems folks flock to ample hills to satiate the post dinner sweet tooth. Overall, a solid ice cream joint with some cool vibes on the inside. ”
“ Ample Hills Creamery is hands down my favorite ice cream spot in Brooklyn. This local gem truly masters the art of ice cream making. I've frequented Ample Hills countless times, and each visit leaves me impressed with their consistently delightful flavors. The ice cream is luxuriously creamy and bursting with unique combinations that set it apart from any other. Ooey Gooey Butter Cake: A longtime favorite of mine, this flavor deserves a perfect score. Imagine the taste of buttery pound cake infused into velvety ice cream, with delightful morsels of pound cake adding an extra layer of indulgence. It's hands down one of the most distinctive ice creams I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. If you're visiting, this flavor is a must-try. Chocolate Milk & Cookies: True to its name, this flavor perfectly captures the essence of dipping Oreos into a glass of chocolate milk. Chocolate enthusiasts will revel in this unique twist on the classic cookies and cream combination. Just Vanilla, Please: Despite Ample Hills' reputation for innovative flavors, their classic vanilla surpassed all expectations. The fresh, robust vanilla flavor paired with the incredibly light texture makes it stand out as the best vanilla ice cream I've ever tasted. A definite must-have for vanilla lovers. Nonna D's Oatmeal Lace: This flavor has been a go-to for me for years. If you're a fan of oatmeal raisin cookies, you'll adore this ice cream. With its cinnamon-infused base and crunchy oatmeal cookie bits, it's reminiscent of biting into a warm cinnamon roll. Truly a unique and irresistible treat. Crispies & Cream: While not my top pick among their offerings, Crispies & Cream still delivers on richness and creaminess. Marshmallow-flavored ice cream combined with crispy rice bits creates a playful texture and flavor profile. It's worth a try for fans of marshmallow and rice crispy treats, but personally, I prefer their classic vanilla. Opting for the flight option, which offers six mini scoops for $9, proved to be a smart choice for me. Not only is it more economical than buying individual scoops, but it also allows for sampling a variety of flavors. Perfect for sharing among 3 or more people. The creamery provides ample seating both indoors and outdoors. Water is readily available at the front, and there are restroom facilities located at the back. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist with flavor sampling and recommendations. I highly recommend a visit to Ample Hills Creamery; it's an innovative and charming ice cream shop with multiple locations across Brooklyn. ”
“ Best ice cream spot in the neighborhood. Lots of classic flavors but also unique ones. Also, decent vegan options available too! ”
“ Ample Hills definitely has some of the best ice cream NYC has to offer! I do miss when they had more locations because their brownie sundaes are just too good-now I have to trek all the way to Brooklyn (please re-open the Chelsea shop!). You really can't go wrong with any flavor, but the Ooey Gooey and the Munchies are my favorites. Even their brownies and hot fudge are homemade, making for the perfect sundae. However, the only reason I dock 1 start is because the service I have been receiving has been...not the best. The staff always seem to have an attitude despite me always being extra nice and walking on eggshells in light of knowing this. Oh well...hopefully this will get resolved soon because ice cream is fun and we live the people who scoop it for us! ”
